Justin Bieber calls Drew Ryniewicz on stage
Military Wives Leader: ‘I Feel Like Bieber’
Military Wives choirmaster Gareth Malonehas joked that the choir’s massive sudden popularity has left him feeling like Justin Bieber.
The 36-year-old, who has fronted several choir-based reality shows for the BBC, has given an interview to The Sun in the wake of the news that the choir’s single, Wherever You Are is the fastest-selling track in the UK for six years.
Midweek sales figures show it outselling the rest of the top 20 records in the Official UK Singles Chart combined.
Gareth said: “It’s been a whirlwind year. I now have an insight into what it must be like to be Justin Bieber, but only in a very poor and slightly lame way.
“We are on an absolute high. We are the fastest-selling single in six years and are favourites for the top spot. We are looking good but it’s by no means a done deal.
“These moments don’t come around very often. I can think of very few things this exciting.”
And he also revealed that Simon Cowell had tweeted his congratulations when it was revealed that Military Wives had sold more in 48 hours than The X Factor winners Little Mixdid in the entire previous week.
The Choir: Military Wives has seen Gareth teaching women from Royal Marines Barracks Chivenor, North Devon, to sing while their husbands served in Afghanistan.
The proceeds from the single’s sales will go to military-related charities.

Naya Rivera Would Rather Date Justin Bieber

Proactiv’s latest spokesperson tells HollywoodLife.com why she’d love a night out with the Biebs.
Naya Rivera‘s character on Glee may have trouble picking sides — in more ways than one — but in real life, there’s one choice she doesn’t have to think twice about. She tells HollywoodLife.com she’d pass on a date with Robert Pattinson for a night with Justin Bieber, because “he could teach me how to dance!”
“I have never met Justin,” Naya admits. “But I would like to!”
One celeb she has met, however, is Gloria Estefan, who will be playing her mom on an upcoming episode of Glee.
Naya says she met Gloria Estefan on the Glee set before she was cast to play her mother.
“When I found out Gloria Estefan was going to play the part of my mom, I was so excited,” she says. “I couldn’t believe it. It was like a dream come true! My mom loves her. I love her. She is a reallyincredible person and singer.”
She also reveals that she relates to her character, Santana, more than people might think. While she isn’t gay in real life, Naya says she faced her share of problems in high school.
“My high school years were really, really difficult,” she says. “I felt really alone. I had no confidence and didn’t feel like I could fit in. I had my family and they were my support system. It’s really important to reach out if you are being bullied in school or feel alone. There are so many places you can go to for support. You never have to be alone.”
So where does she get her confidence now? It could be from the Bible or The Secret, two books Naya says she goes to for inspiration.

JB (And His Sister!) Kills Us With Cuteness
Justin Bieber just gave his fans a reason to love him even more.

Sorry, Beliebers, that would be the singer’s sister, Jazmyn.
Yep. In the middle of the half-hour show, Justin brought his ridiculously cute 3-year-old sibling out onstage, where the two sang an adorable rendition of “Baby” together.
The darling duo went on to share some sweet banter, a few hugs and a couple “I love yous.”
So check out the video above. And if it doesn’t leave you with a warm feeling inside, well, then you have no soul.

Justin Bieber’s Big 2011
Get More: Beyoncé, Music News
Our #5 Newsmaker of 2011 launched a concert film, found his inner rapper and chopped off his famous locks in a boundary-pushing year.
In the two years since Justin Bieber dropped his debut album, My World, the teen superstar has become one of the biggest forces in pop music and amassed a dedicated legion of Beliebers along the way.
A global superstar who can top the box office as well as the charts, it’s hard to remember what pop was like pre-Bieber. Over the course of the year, MTV News watched as the young star continued to climb new career heights, and you were there as we covered every milestone on the way to Justin’s becoming our #5 Top Newsmaker of 2011.
“Fans will be really excited to see that I’m just a regular 16-year-old having fun just living my dream,” he told MTV News in February at the premiere of his 3-D film, “Never Say Never.” ”And it’s possible for anyone to live theirs.”
Bieber’s determination to dream even bigger was clear this past year. He kicked off 2011 with the release of a concert documentary that brought fans into his world, pre- and post-fame; he followed that up with more music, dropping Never Say Never – The Remixes. By mid-year Bieber was selling out venues on his My World Tour, and at the end of ’11, he was ready to celebrate the holidays with Under the Mistletoe. He also made time to rap for us right in the MTV Newsroom, had teen girls everywhere smelling good with his Someday perfume and made jaws drop by chopping off his famous locks.
“We knew it was going to be a big deal,” Bieber’s hairstylist, Vanessa Price, explained. “We knew it was going to shock fans, but we also knew it was going to be a change in terms of growing up. I think that’s something that people adjust to.”
This year was also about pushing boundaries for Bieber. He gained street cred by working with the likes of Kanye West, Chris Brown and Busta Rhymes, and when asked how he thought his music would evolve, he explained, “I’m not gonna really limit myself. I think music is music, and genre — I mean, I know there’s country music, there’s rock music, but my music is different. My voice is not meant for any style. I just want to make music.”
The Biebs made time for love, too, spending time with girlfriend Selena Gomez at events like awards shows and on lavish date nights. And he had Gomez’s support when a fan made false claims that he had fathered her child. Justin never really seemed to waver though: He shrugged off the allegations and moved on.
Bieber already has big plans for 2012. He’s readying his next album,Believe, which he opened up about during his first-ever “MTV First” in October. “I’m trying to create a new sound that people aren’t really used to hearing, so it might sound weird at first, but it’s going to be like when Justin Timberlake did FutureSex/LoveSounds: It was a new sound … acoustic guitar over hard drums,” he explained.
“I want to find something that’s going to suit me and my fans are going to love and older people will like and younger people will like. But I’m always trying to keep my core fanbase, because the young people are what make everything cool. Old people look to young people, so trying to keep everyone happy.”
